How Blunt uses content
Blunt is an information location tool. We index publicly available web content to identify entities and measure public sentiment. Where an image appears next to an entity, it is reduced to a small identification-scale thumbnail and links to its source. Blunt is not the original source of third-party images and does not claim ownership of them.
If you hold rights to material that appears on Blunt and want it removed, we act quickly. The process below explains how.
Reporting copyright infringement
To report material on Blunt that you believe infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent at copyright@blunt.ai.

What your notice must include
A valid notice must contain all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it. Include the exact Blunt URL.
- Your name, mailing address, phone number, and email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
How we respond
- We acknowledge a complete notice within 48 hours.
- We remove or disable access to the reported material within 7 days, and we add its source URL to a permanent blocklist so it does not reappear in later searches.
- We keep a record of every removal.
Counter-notice
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, send a counter-notice to copyright@blunt.ai that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.

Repeat infringers
In appropriate circumstances, Blunt disables or terminates the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
